The Frankland River is a river in the extreme southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the southern slopes of Mount Giblin in the Frankland Range , south of Lake Pedder . From there it flows to the west-northwest and flows into the Davey River at the foot of the mountains .
