František Krčil

František Krčil (born August 18, 1974 ) is a Czech table tennis player with international activities in the 1990s and 2000s.

Career

František Krčil took part in the 1997 World Cup in Manchester, but did not come close to medal ranks in his only World Cup. At the European Championships in 2000 in Bremen he reached 6th place with the team ( Korbel , Plachý , Bindač , Výborný , Krčil). His participation in the European Championships in Zagreb in 2002 was unsuccessful.

Since the late 1980s, Krčil competed for the SKST Vlašim. In the 1990s he moved to TTC Frýdek-Místek. With this team he was six times Czech champion from 1995. In 2015, Krčil took 29th place in the national ranking.

In 2001 he became Czech champion in doubles with Martin Olejník. With the Czech club TTC Frýdek-Místek he played for several years in the European Super League and was second in the European Cup in 1999/2000 . From 2002 to 2004 he was active at SKK El Nino Praha. Since 2004 he has played for various German clubs. First he was signed in 2004 by FC Tegernheim for the 2nd Bundesliga South. In 2006 he moved to Italy, but later returned to Tegernheim. From 2014 to 2017 he played for TTC Fortuna Passau in the 2nd Bundesliga, then for Regenstauf.
