František Malenínský

František Malenínský (born July 22, 1959 in České Budějovice ) is a Czech officer . He was promoted to generálmajor on May 8, 2008 .

Malenínský attended the Army College in Vyškov (graduated in 1982) and the Brno Military Academy (postgraduate studies, graduated in 1989). He also completed training at the Royal College of Defense Studies in London (1999–2000) and at the NATO Defense College in Rome (2002).

Malenínský began his military career in 1982 as a platoon driver . In 1994 he rose to become commander of the 1st Artillery brigade and 1997 as head of out of it emerged the first training and mobilization base of artillery (Výcviková a mobilizační základna dělostřelectva) in Jince on. In 2000 he became the deputy commander of a mechanized division . In 2005 he was appointed head of the Vyškov-based command authority for training and operational principles (Ředitelství výcviku a doktrín), and in 2007 the support and training forces (Sily podpory a výcviku) were subordinate to him. On August 1, 2011 he was appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces .

In addition, Malenínský went through several foreign assignments as deputy chief of staff, namely at RC AFNORTH and its successor structure JFC Brunssum (2002–2005), at MCD (the Military Cooperation Division that emerged from the Partnership Coordination Cell (PCC) in Mons ) (2008–2010) as well as SHAPE (2010–2011).
