Franz-Egon Humborg

Franz-Egon Humborg (* 1937 in Münster ) is a German former judge .

Life

After graduating from high school at the Paulinum, Franz-Egon Humborg studied law in Munich and Münster from 1956 . After the first state examination in 1960, he was in 1964 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster with the work The Vorstrafenerörterung at the trial with special emphasis on rehabilitation to Dr. iur. PhD. In 1965 he passed the second state examination in law and was initially a research assistant at the Higher Administrative Court. In 1967 he became a judge at the Münster Administrative Court . In 1973 there was an appeal to the Higher Administrative Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia with its seat in Münster and head of the 16th Senate, the u. a. is responsible for the law of training and study funding , social assistance law and kindergarten law. In 1982 he was appointed presiding judge . He was chairman of the judges' council at the OVG for four years. In 2002 he retired.

Humborg held a lectureship in public law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. He published numerous specialist articles and became known as a recognized expert with a major commentary on the Federal Training Assistance Act .

He is committed to the Citizens' Foundation for Münster and is a volunteer guide in Münster's St. Paulus Cathedral .

Franz-Egon Humborg is committed to numerous social projects in the Holy Land . In 1974 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Maximilien Cardinal de Fuerstenberg and invested in Cologne Cathedral on December 4, 1974 by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . He is a grand officer of the order and for many years was chief commander of the St. Ludgerus Münster commandery.
