Franz-Josef Kemper (geographer)

Franz-Josef Kemper (born April 7, 1944 in Bonn ; † January 2, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German social geographer and university professor .

Life

Kemper was in 1975 at the University of Bonn with a thesis on recreational geography example Bonn doctorate . In 1988 he completed his habilitation in Bonn. In 1995 he took over a professorship at the Institute of Geography at the Humboldt University in Berlin . His main field of work was population and migration geography.
