Franz-Walter Beyss

Franz-Walter Beyss (born July 17, 1943 - † November 13, 2012 ) was a German table tennis player . With the club DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf he was German team champion five times in the 1960s.

Career

Franz-Walter Beyss was initially active in Odenkirchen and switched to the DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf club in 1960 . In 1961 he was West German champion in boys' doubles with Klaus Dickner. With Düsseldorf he won in 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1967 together with u. a. Eberhard Schöler , Dieter Forster , Hans-Jörg Offergeld and Herbert Dombrowski the German Team Championship.

In the 2000s he played in the lower classes, until 2011 at SSV Gevelsdorf, then at TTC Kückhoven.
