Franz Aglietti ( Francesco Aglietti ; born October 13, 1757 in Padua , † May 3, 1836 ) was an Italian doctor . He had the degree of a doctor and worked as a professor in Venice as well as a doctor, director and protomedicus at a hospital in the city, the Atheneum. There he was also general secretary. In addition, he was the first doctor in the provisional Imperial and Royal Maritime Medical Magistrate in Venice and the Imperial and Royal Gubernialrat . In 1790 he was elected a corresponding member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences . He has written articles for several Italian magazines. Constantin von Wurzbach describes him as an "excellent doctor".
