Franz Baier

Franz Baier (born September 1, 1919 in Schreckenstein , Czechoslovakia ; † November 1, 2003 ) was a German local politician ( SPD ).

Career

Baier attended elementary, civil and commercial school. He then entered the city administration service in his hometown. The draft for military service and a serious wound in 1942 interrupted his professional career.

After being expelled , he came to Adelshausen in 1946 . In 1947 he became head of the Walkemühle training and recreation home and in 1954 received a job as a probation officer .

Baier was involved in the SPD. He was a city ​​councilor in Melsungen and chairman of the district council of the district of Melsungen . In 1961 he was elected District Administrator of Melsungen.
