Franz Busch (born March 3, 1878 in Schweidnitz , † after 1950) was a German politician ( LDP ). From 1946 to 1950 he was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Franz Busch, son of a mill farmer, attended elementary school in Radefeld from 1884 to 1892 and then did an apprenticeship as a miller. After three years of apprenticeship, he worked as a miller's journeyman in Klein-Sandersleben until 1898 . From 1898 to 1900 he did military service . From 1900 to 1906 he was a journeyman miller in Klein Ammensleben and then until 1909 an employee of the security company in Leipzig . In 1909 he bought a mill in Klein Ammensleben and worked as an independent miller. From 1914 to 1918 he did military service in the First World War .

In 1918 he was elected deputy mayor and in 1928 mayor of Klein Ammensleben. After the seizure of power by the Nazis, he was removed from office in 1945 and used by the occupying power back into the office. During the time of National Socialism and after 1945 he ran the milling trade and agriculture.

In 1945 he joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDP) and was elected to the Wolmirstedt district council in the local elections on October 20, 1946 .

In the state elections in the province of Saxony in 1946 he was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in constituency II ( Burg , Magdeburg , Schönebeck , Jerichow I , Wolmirstedt , Haldensleben , Wanzleben ) . As part of the coordination of democratic institutions in the GDR , economic criminal proceedings were opened against him in 1950. Busch had not fulfilled the potato delivery requirement. To this end, the state parliament lifted its immunity on August 23, 1950. On September 6, 1950, he was expelled from the LDP.
