Klein Ammensleben is a part of the community of Niedere Börde in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt .
geography
Klein Ammensleben is located about 15 km northwest of Magdeburg and 15 km southeast of Haldensleben near the Mittelland Canal .
history
The first documentary mention dates from 1303 ( Lütken-Amesleve ). However, since Groß Ammensleben was already mentioned in 965 as Nordemmenleben ( Nordammuneslevu ), it is reasonable to assume that Klein Ammensleben also existed as southern Ammensleben at this time.
Since January 1, 2004, Klein Ammensleben has been part of the newly formed community of Niedere Börde.

The community of Klein Ammensleben is located on an extensive spring area, connected with the "Kreuzhoch" and the "Teufelshoch" as a particularly scenic area monument. - The German theologian and playwright Ambrosius Pape was a pastor in Klein Ammensleben from 1577 to 1608.
- Franz Busch was Müller in 1918 and Mayor of Klein Ammensleben from 1928 to 1933 and again from 1945.
