Franz Carl Loch

Franz Carl Loch (born October 1, 1924 in Dudweiler ; † December 12, 2002 ibid) was a German ENT doctor and medical professional politician .

Life

After studying human medicine in Berlin, Innsbruck, Prague and in 1948 in Frankfurt am Main, he passed the medical state examination and was awarded a Dr. med. PhD.

After clinical stations in Bonn with Paul Martini , Heidelberg with Karl J. Matthes , Sulzbach and Ludwigshafen with Gerhard Theissing , he received recognition as a doctor for ear, nose and throat medicine in 1953. In 1955, Franz Carl Loch set up in Sulzbach / Saar as an ENT doctor in his own practice. There he worked for about 36 years at the same time as the head physician in the ENT department of the Knappschafts Hospital in Sulzbach / Saar.

In 1962 he was elected Vice-President of the Saarland Medical Association and its President in 1986 - a position he held until 1999. In this function he was a member of the board of directors of the German Medical Association , where he was responsible for advanced medical training from 1983 to 1995 .
