Franz Ferdinand Richter (* 1693 in Breslau ; † unknown) was a Silesian baroque painter .

Life

There is evidence that Richter worked in Rome and received a passport to travel home there on May 18, 1727. He worked for some time in Florence at the Medici court . It was here that the painting Gian Gastone de 'Medici was painted in 1737 and exhibited in the Palazzo Pitti . It shows the ruler in opulent ducal robes. The altar sheet found in Aschbach suggests that he was also involved in the design of the Ebrach monastery .
