Franz Groth
Franz Wilhelm Karl Hugo Groth (born November 20, 1850 in Glückstadt , † 1918 ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.
Life
Franz Groth studied law at the universities of Heidelberg , Leipzig , Berlin and Greifswald . In 1869 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. In 1890 he became district judge and in 1892 district judge in Kiel. In 1810 he was president of the district court in Glatz . In 1914 he was appointed president of the regional court in Flensburg .
Groth sat from 1894 to 1898 as a member of the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein 14 (city and district of Kiel) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the national liberal faction. From 1898 to 1903 he was on the central board of the National Liberal Party .
