Franz Hiesl (* 26. March 1952 in Waizenkirchen ) is an Austrian politician of the Upper Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and was from 2000 to 2015 Deputy Governor of Upper Austria .

Life and local politics

Hiesl lives in the town of Perg , is married to Theresia and has a daughter and three sons. In 1979 he was elected to the town council of Perg and from 1985 to 1995 he was town councilor there . In 2010 he was made an honorary citizen of Perg.

Political career
