Franz Ludwig Christoph Ignatius von Mairhofen
Franz Ludwig Christoph Ignatius Freiherr von Mairhofen (baptized July 23, 1721 in Klingenberg am Main , † 1788 ) was court and government councilor and Fulda vice-chancellor.
Life
Franz Ludwig Christoph Ignatius von Mairhofen was a son of the Mainz court councilor and Mainz bailiff zu Klingenberg Franz Wilhelm von Mairhofen and his wife Maria Franziska, née von Buseck.
He was Fulda Vice Chancellor as well as court and government councilor and worked as a bailiff in Salmünster and in Brückenau .
On April 11, 1770, Christoph Ludwig von Maierhofen , nicknamed Thales Cretensis, was accepted as a member (matriculation no. 733) of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina .
He was with Anna Augusta Friederika, née von Breitenback; called Breitenstein, married. Their son Damian was Count Waldeck's captain and died in 1810 near Medina in Catalonia.
