Franz Peucker

Franz Peucker (born August 7, 1881 in Grünberg ; † after 1933) was a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician ( center ).

Life

After attending grammar schools in Sagan and Sorau , Peucker studied law and political science at the universities in Leipzig , Munich and Kiel , which he completed with two state examinations in law. In 1910 he was at the University of Leipzig with the issue of air navigation right to a doctor of law doctorate . From 1912 he worked for a year as a court assessor in Felix Porsch 's law office in Breslau . From there he switched to the Prussian administrative service.

Peucker was mayor in Rößel from 1913 to 1914 , then city syndic in Kreuznach and from 1915 to 1920 mayor in Patschkau , where he also worked for the district administration from 1918 to 1919. From May 1920 to 1933 he was the district administrator for the district of Glatz . In addition, he was deputy chairman of the Central Silesian district association.

From 1920, Peucker was a member of the Provincial Parliament and the Provincial Committee of Lower Silesia for the Center Party . In December 1924 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 7 (Breslau).
