Franz Redies

Franz Redies (* July 20, 1899 ; † May 2, 1985 in Düsseldorf ) was director at IG-Farben in Leverkusen and district administrator of the Rhein-Wupper district .

Life

Redies was at the instigation of the British military government for the period from May 3 to December 28, 1945 as the first district administrator after the Second World War in the Rhein-Wupper district. From 1946 to 1964 he ran a law firm as a patent attorney in Neukirchen and Düsseldorf .
