Franz Weidenfeld
Franz Weidenfeld (born September 18, 1829 in Bickhausen , † December 4, 1900 in Glehn ) was a German manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Weidenfeld attended the community school in Malmedy and inherited the Bieckhausen estate from his father-in-law Arnold Froitzheim. He was also the owner of the Birkhof manor near Neuss , which is still owned by the family today. In 1867 he had the monastic hospital built in Glehn . From 1888 to 1899 he was a member of the district committee and provincial state parliament.
From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the district of Düsseldorf 12 Neuss , Grevenbroich and the German Center Party .
