Franz Adolf Eduard Benjamin Baron von Zedlitz and Leipe (* 21st April 1876 in Berlin , † 29. March 1944 in Moltketal , today Poland ) was a German baron and marksman .

biography

Franz von Zedlitz and Leipe was born as the youngest of four sons of Adolf Freiherr von Zedlitz and Leipe and Helene Nothomb .

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 , he competed in the Trap discipline for the German Empire. In the individual he took seventh place and in the team competition he won the bronze medal together with Horst Goeldel-Bronikowen , Erich Graf von Bernstorff-Gyldensteen , Erland Koch , Albert Preuss and Alfred Goeldel-Bronikowen . During the Second World War he fell at the front in what is now Poland.
