The women's international soccer game GDR - Czechoslovakia took place on May 9, 1990 in the Karl Liebknecht Stadium in Potsdam .

preparation
In preparation, a two-day training camp took place at the Lindow sports school . In order to analyze the opponent, the coach Bernd Schröder (also coach of Turbine Potsdam ), together with his assistant coach Dietmar Männel (then coach of FC Wismut Aue ), had the international match of Czechoslovakia against the German national soccer team of women on 29 Visited April 1990 in Frýdek-Místek .
