The Frauensee is one of five smaller lakes in the Tyrolean Lakeland in the municipality of Kramsach . The Frauensee was declared a natural monument in 1973 .
location
The lake is located at the foot of the Voldöppberg , north of the Inn Valley , but is not considered a mountain lake. It is 150 meters long and 120 meters wide on an area of 18,000 m². Today the lake is under nature protection. Its drain, which is located in the south of the lake, is used as a water drive for a feed mill. It is mainly fed by slope water.
