Fred Berger (producer)
Fred Berger (born May 10, 1981 in New York City ) is an American film producer .
Life
He had previously worked on film sets in other roles and began producing with the television film Taking Chance (2009). He was best known as the producer of the film La La Land , for which he received an Oscar nomination in the category Best Film in 2017 , which he shared with the other two producers Jordan Horowitz and Marc Platt . He also received a Golden Globe Award in 2017 for the film in the category " Best Film - Comedy / Musical ".
In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year .
