He worked at the Lower Saxony Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection , PortalU coordination office . At the beginning of the 21st century he started writing fiction books.

Private life

Kruse lives in northern Germany. He is married with three daughters, a son and three grandchildren.

Writing activity

Kruse's first book was published in 2012. It was a science fiction book for young people and opened the Lucy series. By 2017, 11 books had been published on this series. This series is set in modern times. Two powerful, technologically advanced alien civilizations are trying to divide the galaxy among themselves. Lucy, a girl around 16, and her friends get caught up in this power struggle. Similarities to today's conditions on earth exist and are intended.

Kruse used the knowledge and experience from his IT work in his thrillers, which are more suitable for older teenagers and adults .

In 2013 the three-part work Final Shutdown was published . In these three books, Kruse tries to warn of the dangers that arise from a complete dependence of the infrastructure on foreign software. In particular, Kruse points out that powerful US software companies control almost 100% of national IT. These US American software companies allow various secret services to monitor and control all computers that use this software through targeted gaps in their operating systems. But not only the American secret services can make use of these loopholes, but also criminal organizations that gain knowledge of them.

In his novel 2048 , Kruse pointed out that the excessive collection of data on all aspects of the private and social life of every single person harbors the risk of a totalitarian surveillance state.

Kruse publishes his books on the publisher-independent platforms Neobooks and CreateSpace.com . The books can be bought on all common sales platforms, such as B. Amazon.com , Google Play , iTunes Store etc. can be purchased. Downloading as an e-book is partly free.
