Fred Kunde (born April 14, 1912 in Stettin ; † January 18, 2001 in Bremen ) was a German civil servant, politician (SPD) and member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Kunde learned a commercial profession and worked as an employee in Szczecin before the Second World War . He served as a soldier during the war and was released from American captivity to Bremen in 1946. In 1947 he became an employee in the Bremen administration. In 1948 he worked for the emergency aid offices in Bremen-Lesum and Vegesack. He completed an administrative training as a civil servant in the higher service and became a civil servant.

In 1954 he temporarily took over the role of head of the local office in the Horn-Lehe district of Bremen and in 1955 this office was transferred to him. From 1959 to 1975 he was the head of the Bremen- Blumenthal district .

politics

Customer became a member of the SPD and was active in his local associations. From 1963 to 1967 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship. Since he wanted to remain head of the local office, he could not be re-elected as a member of the citizenship from 1967 onwards due to the then applicable regulation of the incompatibility of office and citizenship mandate.

  • The Fred customer-street in Bremen-Blumenthal was named in 2001 after him.
