Fred Tammes

Frederik "Fred" Tammes (born October 4, 1937 in Huizen , North Holland ) is a Dutch cameraman .

Life

Fred Tammes trained as a cameraman at Cinetone Studios . After shooting several German and Dutch productions, he moved to the United Kingdom in 1982 , where he was also able to establish himself as a cameraman. For his work on Wives and Daughters and Daniel Deronda , he was nominated for a British Academy Television Award for best cinematographer . He has lived in Australia since retiring in 2003 .

Tammes has been married to Ina Te Pas since 1960. They both have two children together.
