Frederick W. Lanchester Prize

The Frederick W. Lanchester Prize (English: Frederick W. Lanchester Prize ) is an annual scientific award presented by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences ( INFORMS ). The award, endowed with prize money of US $ 5,000, recognizes contributions to operations research and is presented at the annual meeting of the awarding organization. The first award took place in 1954. The award is named after Frederick W. Lanchester , the developer of Lanchester Law .

With Alvin E. Roth , Maurice Allais , Richard Stone and Robert J. Aumann, there are four Nobel Prize winners in economics .
