Fredrik Jensen (born June 13, 1985 ) is a Swedish football player . The striker , who played for Trelleborgs FF in Swedish professional football, played over a hundred games for the club in the Allsvenskan and the Superettan .
Career
Jensen started playing football at Löberöds IF . He later played in the amateur area at Höörs IS. In 2007 he moved to Trelleborgs FF , but was seriously injured in the preparation for the season in March of that year. After the injury turned out to be a cruciate ligament tear , he missed the entire season. After his recovery, he was one of the club's regulars from the 2008 season . In his first year in the first division he scored five goals, and in the following season he was one of the club's most accurate players with eight goals this season. At the side of Kristian Haynes , Andreas Drugge and Mattias Thylander , he reached ninth place in the table. In the 2010 season , the club surprised, as fifth, he narrowly missed the UEFA Europa League . Shortly after the end of the season, Jensen extended his contract until the end of 2013. The team supervised by Tom Prahl could not confirm the success, despite seven goals from Jensen, they were relegated at the end of the following season. Also in the Superettan the team missed relegation, then he ended his professional career overshadowed by injuries.
Jensen ran in the lower class amateur area for his home club Löberöds IF in the following years , with whom he fluctuated between seventh and eighth division. From 2016 he worked as a player-coach. In 2018 he moved to the seventh division Askeröds IF , and was also part of the coaching staff at the former women's football division.
