Fredrik Riseth (born September 15, 1995 in Melhus ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Riseth won the sprint world championship at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Almaty in January 2015 . In March 2015 he made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in the Sprint in Drammen , where he made it to the semi-finals and achieved the points with 11th place . He ran his first race in the Scandinavian Cup in January 2016 in Östersund and finished 42nd in the 15 km mass start race and tenth in the sprint. In the following month he won World Cup points again with his second participation in the World Cup in Drammen with 23rd place in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships 2017 in Soldier Hollow , he won the gold medal in the sprint.
