Fredrik Wilhelm Gomnaes

Fredrik Wilhelm Gomnaes (born April 4, 1868 in Ringerike , † August 28, 1925 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian composer.

Gomnaes was a student of Iver Holter and studied in Berlin . He became a cellist in Christiania's theater orchestra and then worked as a military bandmaster and director of men's choirs in Hamar , Bergen and Oslo. He composed a symphony , pieces for male choir, songs , organ fugues and military marches.
