Free is the fourth studio album by Belgian singer Kate Ryan . It was released on May 26, 2008. It is Ryan's first album to contain only dance music- style songs .

The album features a duet with the Spanish singer Soraya Arnelas ( Tonight We Ride / No Digas Que No ) and a ballad, namely Free , the title song. In some countries, a different edition of the album has been released that includes some English language versions of the French language songs.
Single releases
On July 6, 2007, after Ryan's label change from EMI to ARS in Belgium, Voyage, voyage, a cover version of the 80s hit by French singer Desireless, was released . After just a few weeks, the CD was number two in the Flemish single charts and received the gold record for 10,000 units sold across Belgium. The single was also successful internationally; In Germany , a CD by Kate Ryan climbed into the top 20 of the singles charts for the first time in three years, and in the Netherlands for the first time in five years. In Sweden , the single was in the chart almost continuously from September 2007 to May 2008. On February 1, 2008, the single LILY was released in Belgium and a few other countries
The next release was called Ella, elle l'a , a cover version of the 80s hit by French singer France Gall , and it was released on April 25 in Sweden , where it reached number two. The single was released on May 9th in Belgium and on May 16th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . In Germany, Ella Elle l'a entered the first week at number ten, in Austria at number 31. In Slovenia the piece was at number five, and in Spain the single rose to number one in the single charts within eight weeks and was fivefold -Platinum excellent. In August Ryan presented the single I Surrender (a cover version of the song of the same name by the British band Clea) at a song festival in Westende .
