Freeze! - Escape is a puzzle computer game that was developed by the Hamburg development studio Frozen Gun Games and published in November 2012. The game is available as an app for numerous operating systems and device platforms and has so far reached over ten million downloads.
The artwork with its dark, atmospheric images was designed by the illustrator Jonas Schenk . The game mechanics come from Andreas von Lepel , who made a name for himself in the early 1980s with the development of various games for the Commodore 64 , Amiga and Game Boy and as the presenter of the X Base program .
Gameplay
As a small round hero in the shape of an eye, it is important to unroll his kidnappers. The player does not control the character himself, but rather the prison cells from which it is necessary to break out. The "Freeze" button allows gravity to be frozen and the eye stays in place. The game world can be rotated to the desired position. If you reactivate gravity, the eye falls in the adapted direction. Deadly spikes and various enemies make the levels difficult.
Platforms
The application was developed for Apple's Touch versions of the iPhone , iPad and iPod as well as for Android , Amazon and Nook devices. The game for Apple devices supports Apple's game network Game Center .
