history
Freeze Frame was released as a single on January 14, 1982. After Centerfold became the number one hit, Freeze Frame followed as a top ten hit in the United States and was awarded the gold record for its millions of sales . Of all ten songs by the band that reached the Billboard Top 40, Centerfold and Freeze Frame are the only top ten hits.
The rock / new wave song was also used in the episodes Schau heimwärts , Flanders and Homerrazzi of the Simpsons .
