Music video

Seth Justman's brother directed the music video. The school where the video was filmed had a ballroom for the students and they were also shown in the video. The music video is one of the first videos to be broadcast on MTV .

The music video begins when Peter Wolf enters the classroom, flips through a men's magazine and notices that his childhood sweetheart can be seen on the 'Centerfold' (fold-out in the middle of a magazine). Several girls in negligees dance through the classroom. Later, the students appear in cheerleading uniforms and saddle shoes in the style of the 1950s and throw books at the musician. The video ends when Wolf escapes.
