history

World championships in the free game have been held since 1928. The first European championship in this discipline took place in Vienna. German players were not yet admitted to this championship. The Dutchman Kees de Ruijter surprisingly won this title ahead of the reigning Belgian World Champion Clement van Hassel , who set three new Eupa records in GD, BED and HS.
