Good free will
The noble estate Freienwillen (formerly Langhbalgaard or Danish Langballegård ) in Langballig is one of the oldest estates in Nordangeln ( Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein ).
Lange Nissen (* 1385 in Terkelstoft ; † unknown) received this court from Duke Adolph VIII on March 1, 1433 for loyal service and was allowed to use a noble coat of arms and shield . The owner was able to free will turn out and exercise. At that time the estate was still in the Duchy of Schleswig (until 1864) and in the Grundhof office . Between 1646 and 1676, Freienwillen belonged to the nearby Glücksburg moated castle, which is reminiscent of a plaque in the local chapel.
In the 16th and 17th centuries, Freiewillen was owned by the von Ahlefeldt and Rantzau families .

- 1931–1964: Johannes Hansen
- 1964–1998: Wilhelm Hansen
- since 1998: Sven Johannes Hansen
Free will has been scaled down ( parceled out ) and sold several times over the centuries . The estate has been owned by the Hansen family for over 100 years and is now in the fourth generation as a farm.
Unlike the farm buildings, the manor house was preserved.
