Frenchy Belanger
French Belanger (* 4. December 1906 in Toronto , Canada ; † 27. May 1969 ) was a Canadian boxer in the flyweight .
Professional career
In 1924 he began his professional career. On December 19, 1927 he boxed against Ernie Jarvis for the NBA World Championship and won by unanimous decision of the judges. However, he lost this belt to Frankie Genaro on points in his first title defense in February of the following year .
In 1932 he ended his career.
