Émile Pladner

Émile Pladner (* 2. September 1906 in Clermont-Ferrand , France ; † 15. March 1980 ) was a French boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

In 1926 he started his professional career successfully. On March 2, 1929, he boxed against Frankie Genaro for the NBA World Championship and won by classic knockout in round 1. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in April of the same year to Genaro in a direct rematch through disqualification in round 5.

In 1936 he ended his career.
