Midget Wolgast

Midget Wolgast (* 18th July 1910 in Philadelphia , USA ; † 19th October 1955 ) was an American boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

In 1925 he began his professional career successfully. On March 21, 1930 he boxed against Black Bill for the vacant NYSAC World Championship and won by a unanimous judge's decision. Wolgast defended this title a total of three times and lost it on September 16, 1935 to Small Montana on points.

In 1940 he ended his career.

In 2001, Midget Wolgast was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame .
