The Friede is a left or northern, 2.5 km long tributary of the Wipper in the municipality of Sollstedt in the district of Nordhausen in Thuringia (Germany).
course
The peace arises in the Bleicheröder mountains , north of the district of Sollstedt. It turns from its source in a southerly direction, flows along a sports field and the Sollstedt waste dump. After crossing under the A 38 , it reaches the town of Sollstedt, touches the indoor swimming pool and now flows underground in the direction of Wipper. It comes to light again at the southern development boundary of the community and flows into the Wipper a good 50 m further downstream.
