Friedelsheim junk

Gerümpel is the name of a vineyard in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Friedelsheim . Their vineyards cover 56.2 hectares .

Location, climate, soils

The junk belongs to the Palatinate wine-growing region and here to the Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstrasse area . It is a single site that belongs to the Deidesheimer Hofstück large site . It is completely within the Friedelsheim district. The altitude ranges from about 116 to 125  m above sea level. NHN ; the terrain here is 20% inclined and 80% flat. The soils of the junk consist of sandy loam and calcareous loess .
