Friedhelm Ernst

Friedhelm Ernst (born April 19, 1946 in Heidelberg ; † May 11, 2015 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ). From 2009 to 2011 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

Life

After primary school in Bruchsal, Ernst attended the Schönborn Gymnasium for nine years , where he graduated from high school. After graduating from high school, he did a two-year internship in a pharmacy in Bruchsal before studying pharmacy from 1968 to 1971. After completing his studies, he opened his own pharmacy in 1972. In his spare time, he studied theology for six semesters at the University of Heidelberg without obtaining a degree. From 1998 to 2001 he studied traditional Chinese medicine in Würzburg.

politics

Ernst was a member of the FDP and deputy chairman of the FDP local association in Bruchsal and had been a member of the local council since 1980, where he had been parliamentary group chairman since 2004. From 1994 to 1997 Ernst was a member of the district council, but left for health reasons. In 2004 he moved back to the district council and left in 2008 at his own request. On September 8, 2009, he replaced Michael Theurer in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, where he was a member of the Social Committee and the Petitions Committee. He was no longer a member of the Landtag elected in 2011 . Ernst was an honorary member of the FDP Bruchsal and the FDP Karlsruhe-Land.
