Friedhelm Rabbit

Friedhelm Hase (born April 17, 1949 in Korbach ) is a German lawyer and former professor at the University of Bremen .

biography

After graduating from high school in 1967, Hase began studying law at the University of Marburg , which he completed in 1972 with the first state examination in law at the University of Giessen . This was followed by two years as a research assistant at the University of Giessen. After his legal clerkship and the second state examination in 1977, he returned to the University of Giessen as a research assistant to devote himself to his dissertation, which he completed in 1981.

From 1984 Hase initially worked as a lecturer in a legal specialist publisher, from 1985 as a consultant in the legal and policy department of the Association of German Pension Insurance Institutions . His habilitation, which was associated with the award of the venia legendi for the subjects of public law and social law, was not completed until 2000. Since 1989 he has been a professor in the social affairs department at the University of Bamberg . In 1998 he switched to a chair for public law at the University of Siegen . In 2009 he again moved to the University of Bremen, where he held the chair for public law with a focus on German , European and international social law and administrative law at the local institute for information, health and medical law until 2017 . From 2013 to 2015 Hase was also dean of the Bremen law faculty. Since 2005 he has also been a member of the Federal Arbitration Office for contract dental care.
