Friedrich Adolf von Berg

Friedrich Adolf Freiherr von Berg (born November 16, 1798 in Göttingen , † March 14, 1889 in Oldenburg ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Oldenburg state parliament .

Life

As the son of Günther von Berg from a noble family in Lower Saxony , von Berg studied law in Tübingen and Göttingen. During his studies in 1816 he became a member of the Arminia Tübingen fraternity . In 1819 he passed his legal exam and became a regional court auditor in Vechta and from 1821 in Neuchâtel in Oldenburg. In 1824 he became a chamber assessor and in 1834 a councilor at the Rentkammer in Eutin . In 1851 he became a bailiff in Westerstede . As a member of parliament, he was a member of the Oldenburg state parliament from 1859 to 1860 and from 1861 to 1863. On his retirement in 1876 he was honored with the title of Privy Upper Government Council .
