Friedrich Alexander Keyl

Johann Friedrich August Alexander Keyl (born January 5, 1809 in Ansbach ; † December 13, 1878 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a rent manager , Keyl studied law in Erlangen after attending high school in Ansbach . During his studies he became a member of the Old Erlangen Burschenschaft in 1825 and was one of the co-founders of the Old Erlanger Burschenschaft Germania in 1827 . After completing his studies, he became an appellate attorney . From 1839 he was a lawyer and notary in Rothenburg ob der Tauber . From 1856 to 1859 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies . In 1876 he received the Knight's Cross First Class of the Order of Merit of St. Michael and retired a year later.
