Friedrich August Clemens Werthes (born October 12, 1748 in Buttenhausen , † December 5, 1817 in Stuttgart ) was a German writer.
Friedrich August Clemens Werthes was a supporter of Christoph Martin Wieland . He was an employee of the Teutscher Merkur . Werthes translated Carlo Gozzi and Ludovico Ariosto .
