Friedrich Bausback

Friedrich Bausback (born September 13, 1811 in Gremsdorf , Upper Franconia ; † June 11, 1836 in Würzburg ) was a German writer and Roman Catholic clergyman.

Life

Bausback was the son of the lawyer Johann Georg Bausback , from whom he was also tutored while attending school. Bausback spent his school days in Bamberg and during his visit to the Bamberg high school he made his debut with his first poems.

After graduating from high school, Bausback initially studied medicine and philology at the University of Würzburg , but soon switched to theology. Soon after successfully completing his studies, Bausback was ordained a priest in Bamberg Cathedral . As such, he was active as a pastor in Bamberg and later in Würzburg.

Friedrich Bausback died sickly almost his entire life at the age of 25 on June 11, 1836 in Würzburg.
