Friedrich Behrens (District Administrator)

Friedrich Behrens (born November 15, 1828 in Stettin ; † after March 11, 1872) was a Prussian administrative officer.

Friedrich Behrens embarked on a military career after completing his school education. After 12 years of military service in 1859, he joined the new district administrator of the Mettmann district , Alexander Freiherr von der Goltz, as district secretary in 1861 . After his move to Lorraine , which fell to Germany as a result of the Franco-Prussian War , in November 1871, the Düsseldorf government entrusted Friedrich Behrens with the administration of the district office until Christoph von Tiedemann was initially provisionally reoccupied on March 11, 1872.
