Friedrich Biegler-König

Friedrich Biegler-König (* 1954 ) is a German mathematician .

Life

Biegler-König received his doctorate in 1980 after studying mathematics at Bielefeld University . He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at McMaster University in Hamilton (Canada) and Stanford University (USA). From 1982 to 1985 he was a research assistant at the Faculty of Chemistry at Bielefeld University. After another five years at Bayer AG in Leverkusen , he was appointed Professor of Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (then: Hanover University of Applied Sciences) in 1990 . Since 1996 he has been teaching applied mathematics and computer science at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences .

Since 2009 he has been Vice President for Planning and Infrastructure.
