Friedrich Blaschke

Friedrich Blaschke (born May 1, 1883 in Vienna , † March 26, 1911 in the Rottenmanner Tauern , Styria) was an Austrian paleontologist.

Blaschke was in 1905 at the University of Vienna Dr. phil. PhD . From 1905 to 1911 he was employed at the Natural History Museum Vienna . Most recently, he held the position of assistant in the geological-paleontological department. Blaschke researched evertebrata from the Mesozoic era . On March 26, 1911, he died in the Rottenmanner Tauern in an avalanche accident.
