Friedrich Detlev Georg Starklof (born July 12, 1788 in Oldenburg , † after 1841 in the United Kingdom ) was a German administrative lawyer and bailiff in the Oldenburg service .

Friedrich Detlev Georg Starklof was the son of the ducal valet and later Oldenburg postal director Christian Gottlieb Starklof (1740-1817) and his wife Charlotte Burkhard from Ludwigsburg. After attending school at the grammar school in Oldenburg , Starklof studied law at the University of Göttingen and Heidelberg together with his brother Carl Christian Ludwig Starklof, who was one year younger . In Heidelberg he belonged to the Corps Hannovera and in Göttingen to the Frisia .

In 1818/19 he was chamber secretary in the administration of the Principality of Lübeck in Eutin, which belongs to Oldenburg . In 1820 he became a bailiff in the Oldenburg exclave of the Birkenfeld region .

From 1821 until his impeachment in 1840 he was bailiff of the Kaltenhof office based in Schwartau in the Principality of Lübeck.

At the beginning of his term of office his office is z. Sometimes described as prudent, but this later changed so that he was intent on his own benefit without exercising restraint. This ultimately led to violations of the law that resulted in his impeachment. He escaped a lawsuit.

The escape led him and his family to England first. The further fate is not known.
